LVH updates NFL futures
The final month of the NFL regular season is upon us and nobody has clinched a playoff spot but there are a few teams that are ready to punch their ticket.

Barring a complete collapse, it’s safe to say that five of the six postseason spots in the AFC are locked up and you could argue that the four division winners can be determined as well.

If you asked the oddsmakers in Las Vegas, they would tell you that the AFC is a two-horse race between Denver (10-2) and New England (9-3), which isn't surprising. The Broncos have been made the 4/7 favorite (Bet $100 to win $57) to win the conference while the Patriots are the second choice at 9/5 odds (Bet $100 to win $180).

Assuming the pair wins out, they'll both get first-round byes in the playoffs and will host opponents in the Divisional Playoff Round. If the playoffs started after Week 13, (3) Indianapolis would host (6) Baltimore and (4) Cincinnati would welcome (6) Kansas City in the Wild Card round. The lowest seed amongst those teams would visit Denver the following weekend and the highest headed to Foxboro.

The Broncos and Patriots have both lost at home in the playoffs before but both teams own perfet 6-0 records this season.

We asked Jay Kornegay, Vice President of Race and Sports Operations at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (LVH) to offer up his opinions on potential postseason matchups with the two contenders in the AFC.

Kornegay and his staff offered up their best-guess numbers on a potential matchup between the pair from Denver and also lines in the Super Bowl against possible NFC opponents.
