League Betting Notes (from Monday, June 9 through Sunday, June 15)
-- Underdogs went 8-7 straight up
-- Underdogs went 9-6 against the spread (ATS)
-- Home teams posted a 8-7 SU record
-- Road teams posted a 8-7 ATS record
-- The 'over' went 8-7
Team Betting Notes
-- The 'over' has leveled off a little bit, but is 16-12 over the past two weeks, still 30-22-1 (57.7%) for the season.
-- Minnesota (8-3) lost its third game out of the past four outings after beginning the season 7-0 SU. The Lynx are also 1-3 ATS over the past four games.
-- Chicago (5-5) continues to tumble. They lost each of their two games in the past week, and they have dropped four games overall. The Sky are also 0-4 ATS during the span, and 1-5 ATS over the past six.
-- Tulsa (4-5) continues its miraculous comeback from an 0-5 start. They won their fourth straight game against Seattle (5-8). Oddly enough, the Storm just scratched out a cover on a 6 1/2-point line, making for just the second game in nine tries the Shock failed to cover this season.
-- Phoenix (7-3) have yet to avoid back-to-back losses, rebounding from a setback in Connecticut (6-6) Thursday to take out the Lynx on the road Sunday, 80-72.
-- The Sun completed the home-and-home sweep of New York (3-8), winning its fourth consecutive game. The Sun are also 4-0 ATS during the winning streak while the 'over' is 3-1.
-- Los Angeles (3-6) continue to struggle. They have dropped three straight games, and they're 0-3 ATS during the losing streak. The Sparks are also 1-5 ATS over the past six since June 1.
