June 28, 2008
SAN ANTONIO (AP) -Minnesota Lynx forward Seimone Augustus missed a game for the first time in her WNBA career Saturday because of a sprained right big toe.
Augustus was hurt Tuesday against Sacramento. She was on the bench in street clothes Saturday when the Lynx took the floor against the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Augustus, a two-time national player of the year at LSU, is in her third season and had started all 82 games as a pro. Team officials gave no timetable for her return.
