UNITED RENTALS WORK UNITED 500 BETTING ANALYSIS
Ryan Blaney (7/1) is seeking his first Cup victory since 2021, when he picked up three wins, including back-to-back triumphs at Michigan and Daytona. Things have dried up for the Ford driver, who went winless last season and finished 26th at California and 13th at Las Vegas.
However, Blaney performed well in the two races in Phoenix last year with a 4th place finish in the March race, while placing 2nd in November. Blaney is winless in 14 races in Arizona, but has finished in the top 6 in six of the past eight at Phoenix Raceway.
Denny Hamlin (10/1) only has one top 10 finish this season, which came in California two weeks ago when he placed 6th. Hamlin won seven times in 2020, but owns only four victories in the last two-plus seasons.
Prior to 2022, Hamlin fared well in Phoenix by placing in the top 5 in five of six races, but finished 13th in the March race and 8th in the November race in Arizona last season.
Joey Logano (8/1) won the pole in Las Vegas last week, but was knocked out of the race on Lap 183 to finish in last place. Logano looks to turn things around this week, as he finished in the top 11 eight straight times in Phoenix, including four top 3 finishes and a win last November.
Kevin Harvick (9/1) has been remarkable in Phoenix over the years by putting together 19 straight Top 9 finishes, but is seeking his first title at this track since 2018.
Last year's winner Chase Briscoe (20/1) put together two terrific runs in Phoenix in 2022. He captured the checkered flag in the March race, then finished fourth in the November finale.
Briscoe looks for an improved finish as his first three races this season have seen him place 35th at Daytona, 20th at California, and 28th at Las Vegas.
