Tuesday night’s featured college basketball betting matchups is all about redemption for a pair of national powers from the Big 12 and Big Ten coming off bad losses their last time out.

The No. 6 Kansas Jayhawks will be on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners in a Big 12 tilt. The Big Ten’s No. 17 Maryland Terrapins remain on the road in a matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers.

Betting Matchup

Kansas came up well short in its first big conference showdown with Saturday’s 67-55 home loss against Baylor as an eight-point favorite. The Jayhawks slipped to 12-3 straight-up and they are 8-7 against the spread after failing to cover in three of their last five games. The total stayed UNDER 132 ½ points on Saturday and it has stayed UNDER in their last five contests.

Devon Dotson is the team’s leading scorer with 18.0 points per game. He also leads the team in assists with 4.4. The sophomore guard was held to nine points against Baylor after leaving the game with a hip injury. He remains questionable for Tuesday night.

The Sooners’ SU four-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday in an 81-68 road loss to Iowa State as four-point underdogs. They are 11-4 SU with a costly 5-9-1 record ATS. Oklahoma has failed to cover in 10 of their last 13 games with one ending in a PUSH. The total has stayed UNDER in four of its last five games. The Sooners are 1-4-1 ATS in six previous home games this season.

They are averaging 74.0 PPG with senior forward Kristian Doolittle scoring 17.1 points a game. He has topped that average in three of this last four starts.

Betting Matchup

Maryland is coming off a bad 67-49 road loss to Iowa last Friday as a two-point favorite. This followed a big 67-55 victory at home against Ohio State on Jan.7 as a three-point favorite. The Terrapins are just 3-3 SU over their last seven games after winning their first 10 games. They have a 4-7 record ATS over their last 11 outings. The total has stayed UNDER in seven of their last nine games.

Maryland is scoring an average of 73.2 PPG with senior guard Anthony Cowan Jr. averaging 16.2 points. He was held to nine points in the loss to Iowa while shooting 20 percent from the field.

The Badgers improved to 5-1 both SU and ATS in their last six games with Saturday’s 58-49 road win against Penn State as 4 ½-point road underdogs. The total stayed UNDER 132 ½ points in that game and it has stayed UNDER in four of Wisconsin’s last five games. It is 5-2 ATS in seven games closing as an underdog.

The Badgers are well down the list in scoring with 67.9 PPG but they do improve to 20th in the nation in points allowed (60.2). They have not allowed more than 57 points in four of their last five contests.
