Butler comes into Sunday’s game fresh off Wednesday’s huge 79-76 victory against Villanova in a game that ended as a PUSH against the spread. This followed a stunning 65-61 home loss to Providence as a 6 ½-point favorite. The Bulldogs are 18-5 straight-up overall with a 6-4 record in Big East play. One of those wins came against Marquette on Jan. 24 with a tight 89-85 victory as six-point home favorites.

They are just 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games. Kamar Baldwin scored the three-point game winner on Wednesday as part of his 17 total points.

The Golden Eagles are also 6-4 SU in conference play with a road win against Xavier and a home win over the DePaul Blue Demons in the last two games. They have won five of their last six games SU and ATS but they failed to cover the 7 ½-points in last Saturday’s four-point win at home against the Blue Demons.

Marquette is 16-6 SU with a 14-8 record ATS. The total stayed UNDER 149 points in the last game after going OVER in the previous five outings. Markus Howard returned to action last Saturday and made a statement with 31 points.

Losses to Tulsa on the road and Cincinnati at home (SU and ATS) have dropped the Shockers to 5-4 SU in AAC play. They have failed to cover in eight of their last 11 games and their SU record is just 2-4 in the last six games. One of those losses was against Houston at home on Jan. 18. Wichita State (17-5 SU) was on the wrong side of a 65-54 tally as a four-point favorite.

The total stayed UNDER 138 points in that game and it has stayed UNDER in four of its last six contests. The Shockers are averaging 73.7 points per game with four players in double figures.

Houston has won eight of 10 AAC games to tie Cincinnati for first place in the standings. It is 18-5 SU (13-10 ATS) overall with Thursday’s 75-62 victory over Tulane. The Cougars failed to cover the 16 ½ points at home to fall to 2-3 ATS in their last five games. The total went OVER 135 ½ points against Tulane after staying UNDER in their pervious seven outings.

Freshman guard Caleb Mills scored 18 points in Thursday’s win as the team’s leading scorer (13.1 points) this season. Quentin Grimes added 15 points in the winning cause.

Betting Trends
