BAYLOR BEARS VS. ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE PREDICTIONS

After a little bit of a hiccup at home against Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, the Bears appear to have righted the ship and they're flying right again. Baylor has won and covered three in a row against West Virginia and Oklahoma on the road, as well against Kansas State at home. That last win over K-State came by a 74-49 margin as 12.5-point favorites, the lowest point total for an opponent since the Bears yielded just 36 to Villanova in a win in Waco back on Dec. 12.

The Crimson Tide suffered an inexplicable loss on the road against Georgia, one of the worst sides in the SEC. Bama is now 2-4 SU and 0-5-1 ATS across the past six games, and that signature win over Gonzaga at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle back on Dec. 4 seems like a lifetime ago. The Tide has been much better at home than on the road this season, including a 3-1 SU mark in conference play. Out of conference, Bama is 6-0 SU/3-3 ATS at Coleman Coliseum, including a resume-building win over Houston back on Dec. 11.

While Alabama is 4-1-1 ATS in the past six games as an underdog, it is just 1-10-1 ATS in the past 12 games overall, while going 0-7 ATS in the past seven at home. The Tide is also a dismal 1-6-1 ATS in the past eight games against teams with a winning overall record.

For totals, the OVER is 11-4 in the past 15 games overall, while going 4-1 in the past five as an underdog. The OVER is also 5-2 in the past seven at home when facing a team with a winning road record. However, the UNDER is 13-3 in the past 16 as a home 'dog.

For the Crimson Tide, they're really struggling lately, going 2-4 SU/0-5-1 ATS, and it's hard to envision this team suddenly putting it together against one of the nation's best teams.

Alabama hasn't had a problem on offense lately, as they're scoring the basketball plenty. It's on the defensive end of the floor that Bama is having issues, yielding 76 or more points in five of the past six outings. Look for Baylor to continue the woes for the Crimson Tide.
