ST. BONAVENTURE BONNIES VS. SAINT LOUIS BILLIKENS PREDICTIONS

The Bonnies come into this home-and-home series with a straight-up 5-4 record in conference play. After losing to Davidson and Richmond earlier this month, they hammered Fordham by 25 points on Tuesday to cover the 12.5 points at home. They have had their struggles on the road which is a concern heading into Friday night’s matchup.

Saint Louis brings a SU six-game winning streak into the first of two meetings in a four-day span. The most impressive victory in that run was a two-point squeaker in double overtime against George Mason on Feb. 2 as a 1.5-point road underdog. The 8-2 Billikens trail Davidson by a game in the Atlantic 10 standings as part of a SU 17-6 record overall.

Saint Louis gets the clear edge for Friday’s clash based on current team form. It should actually sweep this series with the backend scheduled for Monday at St. Bonaventure. The Billikens are playing with a high level of consistency on both ends of the court and that should lead to a Friday win that covers against the spread.
