The Indiana Hoosiers acquitted themselves well in the Big Ten Tournament, winning two games against Michigan and Illinois before bowing out against Iowa in the semifinals. The Hoosiers played the eventual Big Ten champs tough, however, falling just 80-77, covering a 5.5-point number as the OVER hit. In fact, Indiana covered all three games during the league tourney, and it is 6-1 ATS across the past seven games overall while going 4-3 SU.

The Wyoming Cowboys topped UNLV in their opening game of the Mountain West tourney before falling 68-61 against eventual league champ Boise State on Friday. The offense managed just 60.0 PPG in two MWC tourney games while yielding 62.0 PPG as the UNDER cashed in each game. Wyoming has appeared to hit a wall lately, and that's not a good thing, as the Cowboys are just 4-5 SU/3-6 ATS across the past nine games overall.

The Hoosiers head into this game with a little more confidence lately, and don't discount the fact that Bloomington is just about three-and-a-half hour drive. As such, it should be a pro-Indiana crowd at UD Arena in Dayton on Tuesday night.

In addition, IU has the confidence of knocking off fellow NCAA Tournament teams Michigan and Illinois in the past week. In fact, the win over the Illini was much more impressive, as that's a 4-seed, and a team capable of making a long run into this tournament.

The Hoosiers did stumble down the stretch in the regular season, managing a dismal 2-7 SU/3-6 ATS mark in the final nine games, so not many saw the tourney run and an at-large bid in Indiana's future. But quality wins over Illinois and Michigan apparently moved the needle enough, making up for what was perceived as a poor strength of schedule during the non-conference portion.

The Hoosiers are 4-0 ATS in the past four games overall, while going 4-0 ATS in the past four against winning teams. The Hoosiers are also 13-6 ATS in the past 19 games as a favorite, while going 4-0 ATS in the past four neutral-site games.

Wyoming is just 1-4 ATS in the past five games overall, while going 1-4 ATS in the past five against teams with a winning overall record. It isn't all bad news, as the Cowboys have posted an 11-4 ATS in the past 15 games as an underdog, while going 9-3 ATS in the past 12 neutral-site games. The Cowboys are also 4-1 ATS in the past five neutral-site battles as an underdog.

In terms of totals, the UNDER is 5-2 in the past seven games overall, while going 4-1 in the past five games as an underdog.

INDIANA HOOSIERS vs. WYOMING COWBOYS BETTING CONCLUSION

The geographic proximity for Indiana is a distinct advantage, and the fan the Hoosiers are just playing better likely means that this team advances to face Saint Mary's in the first round. But, first things first. Wyoming has been a very good team for a good chunk of the season, including a rank in The Associated Press' Top 25 at one point. Graham Ike and Hunter Maldonado are one of the better one-two punches in the nation, not just the Mountain West Conference. Unfortunately for Wyoming, the drop-off is rather precipitous once those two are no longer in the game. Indiana has a little more depth.

As such, most of the signs point to the Hoosiers getting it done here, although it could be a buzzer-beater situation, or come down to free throws, etc. This won't be a blowout one way or the other, as both of these teams are solid defensively, while posting meager offense. We should see the OVER just get across the finish line after looking like an UNDER result most of the game, as the teams likely score plenty from the line in the final minutes.
