2020 Heisman Odds

The Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas released early betting odds on the winner of the 2020 Heisman Trophy in college football.

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow captured the 2019 honor in a landslide, capped off by winning the National Championship. Burrow is moving onto to the NFL as a new winner will be crowned this season.

Burrow's counterpart in the National Championship, Clemson signal-caller Trevor Lawrence, is one of the two co-favorites at 4/1 odds (Bet $100 to win $400). Lawrence has led the Tigers to consecutive appearances in the National Championship, as Clemson won it all back in 2017.

Lawrence's main competition at this point is Ohio State's Justin Fields, who threw for 3,243 yards and 41 touchdowns to lead the Buckeyes to the college football playoff before losing to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl.

Also in the mix is Oklahoma's Spencer Rattler (12/1), who replaces Jalen Hurts, who is headed to the NFL Draft. Another Big 12 quarterback is receiving early Heisman praise as Texas' Sam Ehlinger is listed at 14/1 odds after throwing for career-bests 3,663 yards and 32 touchdowns in his junior season.
