The second round of the 2018 U.S. Open is in the books and the third round will take place on Saturday June 16 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club from Southampton, New York.

Dustin Johnson entered this week's U.S. Open as the tournament favorite and the No. 1 player in the world.

After two rounds at Shinnecock Hills, he's lived up to the top billing and the books don't expect anybody to catch him. He sits at 4-under and is the only player below par through 36 holes.

Rose is five shots behind Johnson at 1-over through two rounds, while Fowler is (+2) is six behind the leader.

While Johnson was the only player to shoot below par through the first 36 holes, Scott Piercy and Charley Hoffman both managed to finish at even par for the tournament.

Despite the back-to-back solid rounds, Piercy (40/1) and Hoffman (25/1) haven't been given as much respect as the other big names listed before them.
