US Open Odds - Second Round

Pre-Tournament Odds

Prior to the start of the second golf major of the season, Dustin Johnson was listed as the 17/2 favorite (Bet $100 to win $850) to win the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links from Pebble Beach, California.

After Thursday’s first round play, Johnson's odds have dropped to 25/1 after shooting even par.

The leader after one round at Pebble Beach is Justin Rose, who shot a 6-under 65 to lead by one stroke over four golfers tied at 5-under. Rose began the tournament at 30/1 odds to win, but he has been pushed to the top at 11/2 odds (Bet $100 to win $550) after picking up birdies on each of the final three holes.

The foursome behind Rose heading into Friday's second round action includes Americans Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffle, and Aaron Wise, along with South African Louis Oosthuizen.

Fowler (20/1) and Schauffle (25/1) both started the tournament among eight of the top favorites to capture this major, but Wise is the surprise of this group by owning 200/1 odds prior to the U.S. Open.

Schauffle has jumped all the way to 6/1 odds, while Fowler moves up to 8/1 odds after solid first rounds. Wise is in the mix at 35/1 odds, while Oosthuzien went from 95/1 odds on Thursday morning to 20/1 odds heading into Friday.

Defending champion and PGA championship winner Brooks Koepka concluded the first round by shooting a 2-under 69, which included a +2 on the final six holes. Koepka is still one of the favorites at 13/2 after starting at 10/1 pre-tournament.

Tiger Woods looks to make the cut this weekend after shooting a 1-under 70. Woods has not won the U.S. Open since 2008, as his odds sit at 10/1 to capture his second major this season after taking home the Masters title in April.

The second round is expected to start at 9:45 a.m. ET on Friday and weather conditions are clear but wind gusts expected to play a factor again, reaching as high as 12 miles per hour.
