Desert Duel
The Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks continue their series in the desert on Hump Day, and it will be a battle of southpaws with LHP Cole Hamels squaring off against LHP Robbie Ray in an impressive pitching battle.

Lately for Chicago, it has been all under all the time. The under has connected in eight of the past nine games overall, while hitting in five of their past six games against teams with a winning overall record. While the over is 6-2 in their past eight road games and 4-1 in their past five on the road vs. LHP, the under has been the rule with Hamels on the bump. In addition, the under is 5-0-1 in the past six vs. RHP while going a perfect 5-0 in their past five Game 2s of a series. Price has been all about the under lately, too, going 3-0-1 in the past four starts by the lefty against AL East clubs. For the Yankees, the over has connected in five in a row at home for Severino, while going 10-3 in his past 13 starts overall. The under is also 7-1 in Colorado's past eight road games against a team with a winning home mark. The under is also 15-6 in Colorado's past 21 vs. RHP and 20-7 in their past 27 inside the division. However, the over is 7-2-1 in Anderson's past 10 starts and 8-2 in his past 10 assignments on the road. The over is also 6-0-1 in the past seven starts against a team with a winning overall mark. The under has connected in five straight starts for Buehrle at home, while going 6-1 in his past seven inside the division. Thursday, Sept. 20
The Angels and Athletics battle on Thursday afternoon with RHP Matt Shoemaker and RHP Edwin Jackson squaring off. The over is 6-2 in Shoemaker's past eight starts overall, while going 4-1 in his past five road outings. However, the under is 10-3-2 in Jackson's past 15 outings overall, while going 3-1-1 in his past five starts working on five days of rest. The under is also 5-2 in his past seven outings inside the AL West.

Yankees RHP Masahiro Tanaka takes the ball against Red Sox LHP Eduardo Rodriguez at the Stadium on Thursday night. It's been all about the under for both of these hurlers lately. The under is 20-8-2 in E-Rod's past 30 assignments on the road, while going 25-9-2 in his past 36 starts againt teams with a winning overall record, 25-9-1 in his past 35 inside the American League east and 7-2 in his past nine when working on six days of rest. For Tanaka, the under has connected in five of his past six starts, while going 5-1 in his past six home outings against a team with a winning record. The under is also 6-0-1 in Tanaka's past seven against teams with a winning overall mark. The under is also 6-1 in Rodriguez's past seven at Yankee Stadium, while going 9-2 in his past 11 showings against the Bronx Bombers.

Friday, Sept. 14
The Mets turn to RHP Jacob deGrom to work against the Nationals in D.C. It's well documented that he has a sparkling 1.78 ERA, but a dismal 8-9 record thanks to a lack of run support. However, 'under' bettors have loved deGrom, and the lack of hot twigs in the Mets lineup. The under is 4-1-1 in deGrom's past six outings, and 3-0-1 in his past four against teams with a winning overall record.

Phillies RHP Nick Pivetta is scheduled to face the Braves at SunTrust Park. The under is 3-1 in his past four starts, and 3-2 in his past five inside the division. Despite this recent success, he is still just 3-5 with a 5.14 ERA in 13 starts on the road this season, and he is a dismal 1-6 with a 4.81 ERA in 11 starts since the All-Star break.

Padres LHP Eric Lauer takes the ball against the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine, trying to play spoiler. The under is 3-1-1 in Lauer's past five outings against NL West clubs. Reds RHP Luis Castillo is also a solid under play in his start against the Marlins, as the 'under' has connected in each of his past four outings, while going 3-1 in his past four starts on the road. Castillo has yielded just four earned runs over the past 24 2/3 innings with just 15 hits allowed.
