Bloody Well Right
The New York Yankees will face a right-handed pitcher on Thursday when they face off against RHP Edwin Jackson and the Blue Jays. When the Yankees face a righty an 'over' result is usually the result, going 21-4-2 in their past 27 on the road vs. RHP, while going 7-2-1 in their past 10 overall against a right-handed starting pitcher. The over is also 6-1-1 in JA Happ's past eight starts on the road, and he'll be facing his former team. The over is also 7-1-1 in New York's past nine on the road against teams with a losing home record, 7-1-1 in the past nine against a starting pitcher with a WHIP north of 1.30, and the over is also 17-4 in their past 21 in Game 3 of a series, too.

For the Blue Jays, the over has connected in five in a row at home against left-handed pitchers, and the over is 5-0-1 in their past six overall vs. LHP. The over is 7-1-1 in the past nine at home for the Blue Jays, and 9-3-2 in the past 14 against American League East foes. In addition, the over is 9-4-2 in the past 15 overall for Toronto. Following a win, the over has connected in each of the past four, too, while going 6-2 in the past eight meetings overall against the Yankees.

Looking Ahead

Thursday, June 6
The line for the game between the Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers is set at 10 1/2, and that might not be too much based upon the trends. The Orioles roll out RHP David Hess against Rangers RHP Ariel Jurado in the series finale. Both of the first two contests were one-run games in very, very different fashion. Baltimore opened with a 12-11 victory in the opener on Monday, while Texas outlasted the O's 2-1 in 12 innings on Tuesday. Perhaps they conserved their energy and will be ready for another offensive onslaught.

The Rangers have hit the under in five of their past six games, however, and the under is 10-4 across their past 14. The under is also 7-1 in the past eight at home for the Rangers, with the outlier being Monday's game. The under is 4-1 in their past five against right-handed starting pitching, and 7-2 in their past nine following a victory, too. For the O's, the over is 5-2-1 in Hess' past eight starts overall, and 5-1 in their past six against winning teams, while going 8-3 in their past 11 games following a loss. The under is 6-2 in Baltimore's past eight overall, however, and 3-1-1 in their past five against AL West foes, too.

It's a battle of southpaws in San Diego as LHP Patrick Corbin starts for the Nationals against LHP Joey Lucchesi of the Padres. Corbin knows the Padres well from his days with the Arizona Diamondbacks, although this is a new, improved and powerful San Diego lineup than he has been accustomed.

The under has connected in four of the past five stats for Corbin, while going 3-0-1 in the past four for the Nats inside the NL West. The over is 5-2-1 in their past eight games on the road, while going 3-1-1 in the past five vs. LHP. For the Padres, the over is 5-0-1 in the past six outings overall, 5-0-1 in the past six at home and 6-0-1 in the previous seven matchups against teams with a losing overall record.

As far as Lucchesi is concerned, the over is 4-1-1 in his past six starts overall, but the under is 5-2-1 in his past eight starts at home. The under is also 9-4-1 in San Diego's past 14 vs. LHP, and 6-1-1 in their past eight at home against southpaws. In this series the under is 9-4-3 in the past 16 meetings overall, including 5-1-1 in the past seven at Petco Park.

Wind Report
We had some weather interruptions on Wednesday, but the winds are rather tranquil on Thursday, with all venues forecasted for winds 9 mph or under. The only weather trouble spot is in Kansas City, as there is a 30 percent or more chance of light rain all throughout the evening.

Friday, June 7
The Reds and Phillies tangle in the City of Brotherly Love on Friday night with RHP Tyler Mahle facing RHP Zach Eflin. If you're betting the line, the Reds are 3-13 in Mahle's past 16 starts and 1-11 in his past 12 on the road, while going 1-6 in his past seven against winning teams. Remember that for parlay action, especially since the Phillies are 5-1 in Efling's past six at home and 6-2 in his past eight against losing teams.

As far as the total is concerned, the over is 4-0 in Cincinnati's past four vs. RHP, while going 4-1 in their past five on the road against winning teams. The over is 5-2-1 in their past eight overall against righties, while going 3-1-1 in Mahle's past five on the road against winning clubs. The under is 5-2-1 in Eflin's past eight overall, and 4-1 in his past five at home. The under is also 7-2 in Philly's past nine against losing teams, and 4-0 in Eflin's past four assignments against sub-.500 clubs. The under is also 7-3-1 in Mahle's past 11 starts overall.

Out west, the Dodgers have LHP Clayton Kershaw going in San Francisco against a starter yet to be named as of Thursday morning. The over is actually 7-1 in Kershaw's past eight starts on the road, and 4-1 in his past five overall. The over is also 6-2 in his past eight in Game 1 of a series. However, the under is 15-5-1 in L.A.'s past 21 against losing teams, 6-0-1 in their past seven overall and 4-0 in the past four inside the division. While the over is 8-2-1 in San Francisco's past 11 against southpaws, the under is 16-5-1 in Kershaw's past 22 road starts against the Giants, and 25-8-3 in his past 36 overall against the rivals.

The Mariners and Angels square off in a battle of left-handers. LHP Marco Gonzales goes for the Mariners, and it hasn't been going very well for him. The over is 6-2-1 in Seattle's past nine overall, and 19-7-1 in their past 27 against LHP. The under is 4-1 in their past five on the road, however, and the under is 3-1-1 in Gonzo's past five road outings. The under is 5-2-1 in his past eight on the road against losing teams, too. For the Halos, the under is 22-5-1 in the past 28 games on a Friday, making under bettors say t.g.i.f. The undere is also 3-0-1 in LHP Andrew Heaney's past four against losing teams, and 7-3-1 in his past 11 in Game 1 of a series.

The under is also 20-7-1 in the past 28 at home for the Angels against southpaws and 6-2-3 in their past 11 against teams with a losing record. The under is 36-16-4 in the past 56 overall vs. LHP, too. In this series, the over is 4-1-1 in the past six meetings, and 7-3 in the past 10 battles in Anaheim. However, the under is 5-2 in Gonzales' past seven outings against the Halos.

Wind Report
In Friday's lone matinee game, the Cardinals and Cubs will experience a win of 10-13 mph blowing straight into the face of the batters from straightaway center field.

At Progressive Field in Cleveland, the Yankees and Indians will be battling a swirling wind coming in from right field at a 11-14 mph clip. On the other side of Lake Erie, the Twins and Tigers will see the opposite, with winds blowing out to right field at 10-13 mph. The A's and Rangers will battle a 10-13 mph wind blowing out to the right-center field power alley, benefiting left-handed hitters especially.

However, the big wind winner of the day will be in Oracle Park in San Francisco, as the Dodgers and Giants will contend with a jetstream gusting from 14-17 mph out to the right-center field power alley.
