New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays Betting Predictions

The Yankees were able to score the go ahead run in the top of the ninth inning on Monday to win game one of the series 3-2. New York managed just seven hits on the day, but were able to bring home three runs. Starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery went 5.0 innings and gave up six hits and two runs. The other four pitchers used allowed three hits and zero runs. Right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon is scheduled to take the mound on Tuesday. Taillon is 1-1 in four games this season with an ERA of 3.26 and has allowed 22 hits, seven earned runs, and struck out 17 batters in 19.1 innings of work.

I like the total to go under in this matchup. This will be a very competitive series with these being the top two teams of the AL East and runs will be tough to come by. In five meetings between these teams this season, the total has gone over Tuesday’s total of eight just one time. Backing the under as I expect the bullpens to dominate again in this one.
