Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays - Current Form

The White Sox lost against the Red Sox last Friday 2-1, but were able to at least split the series against the Cubs last Sunday. On Thursday, they succeeded in limiting the Red Sox to one run in the second contest of a three-game series that they ended up losing. Their worst game in the last five was on Saturday when the Chicago White Sox only scored a single run against the Chicago Cubs in the series opener.

The Blue Jays went 1-1 against the Cardinals last Tuesday, but then went 1-1 to the Angels in their next game on Sunday. They cruised past the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday by plating 11 runs, which was Toronto's best result in the last two series. The Blue Jays were the weakest on Monday when the St. Louis Cardinals scored seven runs in the final game of the series against the Cardinals.

Having lost on Tuesday 6-5, the White Sox will have to push back hard if they want to take the remaining two games in the series.
