After winning last year’s NBA title, Milwaukee stumbled out to a relatively slow start to the new season, as the Bucks posted losses in six of their first ten games – despite getting tagged as favorites in eight of those matchups.

The Bucks have strung together an impressive stretch of performances since their 4-6 start though, highlighted by Milwaukee entering Friday’s contest following wins in seven of the last nine games – with their only losses across that window coming in tough road matchups against the Celtics and Hawks. On the other hand, Denver jumped out to a surprisingly strong start to this season, as the Nuggets opened with wins in 8-of-14 games – with half of those victories coming in matchups they were underdogs in.

Reigning MVP winner, Nikola Jokic, suffered a wrist injury about a week ago though, and Denver has looked atrocious since, as the Nuggets enter Friday’s contest riding a five-game losing streak – with four of those defeats coming by a double-digit margin.

I’ll lay the points with Milwaukee here, as the Bucks have won eight of the last nine games that Giannis Antetokounmpo participated in – and they shouldn’t find much trouble handling business on the road against a banged-up Nuggets squad on Friday night.

After raising their first championship banner since 1971, the Bucks struggled out of the gate to kick off this season, as Milwaukee posted a head-scratching 6-4 record across the first ten games of the year.

Milwaukee quickly found its rhythm in November though, as the Bucks enter Friday’s matchup full steam ahead – boasting wins in seven of the last eight games that Giannis Antetokounmpo participated in.

Denver Nuggets Betting Analysis

Following Jamal Murray’s devastating knee injury, expectations regarding the Nuggets quickly plummeted last season, as despite finishing third in the West, Denver (-120) ventured into the first round of the playoffs narrowly favored over the sixth-seeded Blazers (+100).

The Nuggets still managed to prevail through that series without Murray – but since the onset of this season, their critical injury absences have seemingly caught up with them, as Denver enters Friday’s contest owning the 10 th spot in the West with a pedestrian record of 9-9.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Denver Nuggets Head-to-Head

The Nuggets and Bucks split a two-game regular-season set last year, with both of those matchups soaring over the total set for Friday’s affair at an average of 231 PPG.

Make note though, Murray and Jokic participated in both of last year’s matchups – meanwhile, there’s a decent chance Denver will be without both of its superstars against the Bucks this Friday.
