Coming off a 10 assists and a 20 potential assist game, this spot is hard to ignore. Something that isn't being talked about enough is Kyle Kuzma’s absence, and its effect on this prop. Since trading away Spencer Dinwiddie at the trade deadline, Kyle Kuzma has spent the second half of the season leading the Wizards in both assists and potential assists.
The Bucks being down both Giannis and Middleton is good news for the starter, with less opportunity for blowout, the starter should see his regular minutes distribution. MIL has been a good matchups for assists against PG's this year, while its unknown how Giannis and Middleton being out effect this, I doubt they would improve in that situation.
Portis is over this number in 10/13 games without Giannis this season, their leading rebounder. Middleton being out of the lineup also frees up 5.4 rebounds per game. On the season, even with all the starters, Portis is averaging 9.1 rebounds. Washington is also a cakewalk matchup, while the Gafford/Bryant rotation was weak, adding Porzingis into the fold didn't help much (considering the fact that I haven't seen him box out all year). Portis averaged 10 in 2 games vs Washington this year, and I’m expecting another double double today. Neto is the starting point gaurd, averging 5.1 assists over his last 10, he should be able to grab 4 assists by halftime.
