After finishing last in the NFC West with a record of 6-10 last year, San Francisco kept that same ball rolling with another slow start to this season, as the Niners opened with a lackluster 3-5 SU and 2-6 ATS skid – with their SU victories coming against a relatively unimpressive group of opponents in the Lions, Bears, and Eagles.

The 49ers have completely flipped the script since Week 9 though, considering San Francisco enters Thursday’s contest boasting wins in five of the last six games – with three of those victories coming by 20 PTS or more.

On the other hand, Tennessee looked like legitimate Super Bowl contenders through the first half of the season, as the Titans kicked things off with an impressive 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS run – despite being favored in just five of those affairs.

The absence of All-Pro RB Derrick Henry has inevitably caught up with the Titans over the last few weeks though, considering Tennessee enters Thursday’s contest following losses in three of the last five games – while averaging just 16.4 PPG on 324 YPG across that span.

I’ll lay the points with San Francisco here, as the Niners are 5-1 SU and ATS across the last six games, driven by their offense scoring 29.2 PPG and their defense allowing 18.7 PPG across that same stretch – while the Titans’ offense has averaged just 18.3 PPG on 302.3 YPG since Henry’s injury in Week 8.

The Titans enter Thursday’s contest as a 3.5-point underdog against the visiting 49ers, which marks the sixth straight game San Francisco has been favored in.

The total for Thursday’s affair is currently stationed just south of OU 45 at most shops – marking the lowest over-under set for a Niners’ game since visiting the Bears in Week 8 (O 40.5).

The Niners’ offensive struggles persisted a few weeks further, as they averaged just 19.5 PPG across a 1-3 SU and ATS stretch across Weeks 5 through 9. San Francisco has completely turned things around since Week 9 though, considering the Niners are 5-1 SU and ATS across the last six games – while scoring 30+ PTS in all but one of those victories (29.2 PPG).

Tennessee lacks an offensive identity with Henry sidelined though, considering the Titans have averaged just 14.8 PPG on 324 YPG across the last four games, inevitably resulting in losses to the Texans, Patriots, and Steelers – and an ugly win over the Jaguars (W, 20-0).
