PITTSBURGH PENGUINS vs. MINNESOTA WILD PREDICTIONS

The Penguins exploded for 11 goals on the lowly Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, but crashed back to Earth in a 3-2 loss at home against the New York Rangers on Tuesday. The Pens would probably be very happy with an offensive effort somewhere in between the two performances. the UNDER result against the Blueshirts snapped a 3-0 run to the OVER from March 23-27. The offensive support for Tristan Jarry has been feast or famine lately, as the Jackets have scored 5, 1, 11 and 2 in his past four starts.

The Wild will be looking for the regular-season sweep, as they have posted a 5-4 shootout victory on Nov. 6 in the Steel City as the OVER cashed. Jarry allowed four goals on 40 shots in that loss, while Cam Talbot held on for the victory while yielding four goals on 39 shots.

Minnesota has picked up seven consecutive victories since a loss March 13 against the Nashville Predators, as the Wild have registered 23 goals during the win streak while coughing up just 10 goals. The UNDER has been on a six-game run since March 19, too.

The Penguins have been a difficult team to figure out lately. Of course, their two losses in the past three games are each against the rival New York Rangers, one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. But they're a completely different team at home than on the road. The last time the Pens were on the road, they lost 5-1 at MSG against the Rangers. Prior to that, Pittsburgh lost an inexplicable game at Buffalo in a 4-3 shootout. They're 2-3-2 across the past seven games on the road.

The Wild showed they have plenty of offense for the Pens, topping them in the Steel City back in November. Now, the Wild will use former Penguins backstop Marc-Andre Fleury against his original NHL organization. The Wild have rattled off seven straight victories, and there's no reason to believe the Penguins can derail this train.
