The Wild suffered a 4-3 overtime setback against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, snapping a seven-game win streak. Minnesota still hasn't lost in regulation since March 13 against the Nashville Predators. The team's last setback in regulation against an Eastern Conference team was March 4 in Buffalo. Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to be back between the pipes for Minnesota, his third start since being acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks at the NHL trade deadline.

The Hurricanes picked up a 4-0 shutout win behind Frederik Andersen on Thursday night as heavy favorites. The Canes haven't lost in regulation since March 20, a 2-0 setback to the New York Rangers. Carolina picked up a 7-2 win in St. Louis in its most recent game against a Western Conference team, while going 5-0-1 in the past six vs. West.
