Watford (+394) rallied past Tottenham on Sunday for a 2-1 win, which was the largest upset of Matchday 4 in the Premier League.

Arsenal (-179) had a back-and-forth affair at Cardiff City but came away with a 3-2 road win. The three goals by the Gunners was the largest offensive effort of the week.

Wolverhampton (+202) earned a 1-0 road win over West Ham United, one of three clean sheets posted on Saturday.

Liverpool (-245) was the largest road favorite to connect as the Reds defeated Leicester City 2-1.

Chelsea (-333) and Manchester City (-828) both held serve as heavy home favorites.

None of the 14 teams in action on Saturday managed to score three goals, which helped the 'under' go 5-1-1 with a push.

Notable Trends

-- West Ham United fell to 0-4 on the season and the lack of offense (two goals) continues to be a major issue for the club.

-- Three teams have captured all 12 points through four games - Liverpool, Chelsea and Watford.

-- The Hornets are the surprise of the trio and bettors should note that three of the wins have come at Vicarage Road.

-- Liverpool, surprisingly, has only allowed one goal in four games. That's the best defense in the league and it's helped the 'under' go 2-1-1.

Another upset took place on Sunday as Hertha Berlin (+449) blanked Schalke 04 on the road.

Wolfsburg (+409) pulled off a big surprise on Saturday as it defeated Bayer 04 Leverkusen with a 3-1 win.

Bayern Munich (-357) cashed again as a heavy favorite with a 3-0 road win over Stuttgart.

Hoffenheim (-196) was the largest home 'chalk' to connect, earning a 3-1 win over SC Freiburg.

Two draws posted on Saturday and both went 'under' as well, ending with 1-1 outcomes.

After scoring four goals in its season opener, Borussia Dortmund was held to a 0-0 draw at Hannover 96 and the tie paid a generous return (+319).

Notable Trends

Only three teams have managed to post wins in their first two games - Bayern Munich, Hertha BSC and Wolfsburg.

Bayern, the league favorite, was expected to win and Hertha was favored in one of its two wins but Wolfsburg's pair of victories both came in the underdog role.

Stuttgart has failed to hit the net through two weeks, the only goalless team in Bundesliga. Meanwhile, Hertha is the only club to not surrender a goal through two games.

Inter Milan (-114) and Juventus (-390) both posted wins as healthy road favorites on Saturday against Bologna and Parma respectively.

Sunday's seven-game card watched Cagilari (+673) and Sampdoria (+561) notch heavy upsets.

Only half of the 14 teams in action were able to score and six of the outcomes saw clean sheets posted, which included a 0-0 draw between Empoli and Chievo Verona.

Sassuolo (+129) ran past Genoa 5-3 as a home favorite and the 'over' (2.5) easily connected with five goals coming in the first 45.

Notable Trends

-- Juventus remains the only team in Serie A to secure all nine points (3-0-0) in three games. Two of its three wins have come on the road.

-- Fiorentina (2-0-0) is also perfect on the season but has played one less game than Juventus. The Viola have only played at home so far but that will change after the international break when they go on the road for two straight.

-- Bologna (0-1-2) still hasn't managed to score a goal this season.

Paris Saint-Germain (-440) doubled-up Nimes with a 4-2 road victory. The high total of 3.5 went 'over' with the help of four second-half goals.

Nice (+603) pulled off a stunner on Friday, posting a 1-0 road win over Lyon.

Notable Trends

-- PSG (4-0-0) is the only team to lock up all 12 points this season.

-- Guingamp (0-0-4) remains winless and as expected, has the worst goal differential at minus-7 (3-10) in the league.

-- Along with PSG, Saint-Etienne (1-3-0) hasn't lost this season but it a lack of offense (3 goals) and stout defense (2 goals) has attributed to three straight draws. The last two ties ended with 0-0 outcomes.

Barcelona (-2000) fell behind 1-0 to Huesca early at home on Sunday but exploded for an 8-2 victory, with five goals coming in the second-half. The 10 goals was the highest combined effort in La Liga this season.

Celta De Vigo (+390) pulled off a big upset on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

Real Madird (-625) remained perfect on the weekend with a 4-1 home win against Leganes. The 'over' (3.5) connected as well.

Girona (+528) started the week off with a bang as it captured a 1-0 road win over Villarreal, the largest underdog to cash in Matchday 3.

Eibar (+203) was the largest home 'dog to win, earning a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad.

Notable Trends

-- The top La Liga pair - Barcleona and Real Madrid -- have both started the season 3-0. Barca (+10) holds an early goal differential edge over Los Blancos (+8), which was helped by its effort on Sunday.

-- Real Valladolid remains the only team in La Liga not to score a goal, yet it doesn't sit in the relegation zone due to a pair of scoreless draws. Valladolid has only allowed one goal, ranked first in the league.

-- The early disappointment this year has been Villarreal (0-1-2), who finished fifth last season. The club often known to Americans as the "Yellow Submarine" have scored one goal in three games and are 0-2 at home this season.
