EPL, La Liga, Serie A Best Bets

Matchup: Chelsea at Leicester City

League: Premier League
Date: Saturday, 7:30 a.m. ET

Best Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 11/10

This weekend’s Premier League action is filled with very even-looking affairs and this clash of third vs fourth at the King Power Stadium could be a tight affair. Both Leicester and Chelsea have doubts over their key centre-forwards, Jamie Vardy and Tammy Abraham, whose absences would severely hinder their sides’ attacking output. Chelsea started the season playing very boldly away from home, but that has changed since December and their wins at Tottenham and Arsenal were both tight games. Under 2.5 goals looks the value here.

Matchup: Sheffield United at Crystal Palace

League: Premier League
Date: Saturday, 10:00 a.m. ET

Best Bet: Draw at 21/10

Crystal Palace and Sheffield United have drawn nine times each this season, third equal in the league after Arsenal and Wolves. Games involving Sheffield United this season have yielded the fewest in the league, exactly two per game with 48 from 24. Palace are joint second on that measure with Newcastle - 50 goals have been scored in their 28 games. Even when at home Palace are rarely proactive and Sheffield United would likely take a draw here, which looks good value at 21/10. Another good option would be to back both 0-0 and 1-1, both at 11/2.

Matchup: Wolverhampton Wanderers at Manchester United

League: Premier League
Date: Sunday, 12:00 p.m. ET

Best Bet: Wolverhampton Wanderers Draw No Bet at 11/8

Manchester United left the Etihad with their pride intact after winning 1-0 (but losing 3-2 on aggregate) in their League Cup semi-final, but they spent long periods without the ball and will likely be tired for the visit of Wolves on Saturday. Wolves have been given a big boost with the return of Willy Boly, their best centre-back, after a long absence. This is the type of game United struggle in. Wolves are a team you cannot counter-attack against, and at the other end of the pitch Wolves have been in good goalscoring form. This could be another difficult day for United.

Matchup: Celta Vigo at Valencia

League: La Liga
Date: Saturday, 3:00 p.m. ET

Best Bet: Valencia to win at 4/5

Valencia secured a fantastic 2-0 win over Barcelona last time out and they can continue their push for the Champions League places with a more routine home win over Celta Vigo. Celta are probably not as bad as their spot in 18th suggests. They are a team who like to keep it tight, but Valencia are looking good going forward at the moment and have taken 20 points from their last ten games. Celta, meanwhile, are without a win since late November.

Matchup: Inter Milan at Udinese

League: Serie A
Date: Sunday, 2:45 p.m. ET

Best Bet: Inter Milan to win at 7/10

Serie A’s top two both slipped up last week, with Inter’s 1-1 draw at Cagliari moving them to within three points of Juventus, who lost at Napoli. Inter can get back to winning ways at Udinese, in what could be Christian Eriksen’s debut for the Nerazzurri. Eriksen will love the slower pace of the game in Italy and could be crucial in giving Inter more creativity to suppor Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku. Udinese are 14th with the second worst goalscoring record in the division, and should not trouble Antonio Conte’s men here.
