Bally Bet was one of nine recipients awarded an online sports betting license on Monday, November 8th, 2021. The New York State Gaming Commission’s decision allows Bally Bet to accept online wagers in the Empire State as soon as January 2022.

The Rhode Island based gaming company currently operates online sportsbooks in Colorado and Iowa, with Indiana, Arizona, and New York up next.

This year, Bally’s has partnered with the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury and acquired Gamesys, a UK-based gaming operator. It plans to upgrade its current mobile app several times in the next year, using recently-acquired Gamesys to create a more user-friendly product.

Bally Bet Promo Code New York

New Yorkers won’t find a promo code for Bally Bet’s online launch just yet, but they can look to other states as a barometer. Bally Bet Colorado and Iowa offer new users a risk-free bet of up to $550 when they sign up. There is no promo code necessary.

Welcome Offer Details

Bally Bet’s welcome offer to New Yorkers will most likely include a risk-free bet. If that is the case, users will need to take a few easy steps to participate in the risk-free action. After successfully registering their account, new users will have to make their first deposit and place their first cash wager.

If that cash wager wins, the user keeps their winnings. If that wager loses, the user will be refunded their money, up to $550 (or some specified amount), in the form of a free bet. The free bet must be used on a wager with odds of +300 or shorter.

Bally Bet New York Mobile App Review

Board Chairman Soo Kim recently spoke about upgrading the Bally Bet app several times in the next year. Until we see version 2.0, as Kim called it, it will lag behind some of its competitors.

The app is serviceable, but the design feels a bit clunky. Five sports appear at the top of the home screen for quick access. However, there is no men’s basketball even though the NBA and NCAAB seasons recently tipped off.

Regardless of its deficiencies, the Bally Bet app provides easy access to promotions, the user’s bet slip, live sporting events, and a list of the sports it has to offer.

Is Bally Bet New York Safe?

Bally Bet won a bid to become one of nine legal online sportsbooks in New York. It uses industry-standard encryption technology to keep users’ money and identity safe. The New York State Gaming Commission will oversee and regulate Bally Bet’s security measures to ensure user safety.

Bally Bet New York Leagues and Markets

Bally Bet will cover at least the major US sports leagues. There will likely be a selection of racing, combat sports, golf, and tennis outside of the major sports, but Bally Bet does not offer as wide of an international selection as other operators.

It will offer spread wagers, totals, parlays, teasers, and more to New Yorkers. On top of that, there will be player props across various sports such as yardage totals in football, or rebounds in basketball.
