Dallas was able to force a deciding Game 7 on Sunday night with a dominating 113-86 victory at home this past Thursday. The Mavericks closed as two-point underdogs at BetMGM and the total stayed UNDER 210.5 points.

Dallas is now 3-1 both straight-up and against the spread in the last four games of this best-of-seven battle. The total has stayed UNDER in each of those four meetings after going OVER in the first two games. Phoenix led this series 2-0 with a pair of victories at home. The Suns took the 3-2 series lead after winning Game 5 by 30-points as seven-point home favorites.

BetMGM has opened the Suns as six-point home favorites for Sunday with the total set at 207 points. The early betting consensus at VegasInsider leans towards the Mavericks either winning outright or covering with the points. The public is also favoring the OVER at almost 70%.

The key to Dallas pulling off the upset is tied to the play of the team’s best player Luka Doncic. He put up 33 points in Game 6 to help pace that win. Through nine playoff games this season, Doncic is averaging 31.1 points a game with 10.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists.

The hot hand for the Suns has been Devin Booker with 24.7 points per game through 12 playoff games. Center Deandre Ayton leads the team in rebounds with 9.3 a game and Chris Paul has dished out 8.7 assists. As a team, Phoenix is averaging 109.1 PPG in the postseason verse the Mavs’ scoring average of 104.8 points.

Recent betting trends in this matchup favor the Suns. Even with three losses to Dallas in the last four games, they are 12-3 SU over the last 15 meetings with a 10-5 record ATS. One interesting trend for the Mavs is a 6-0-1 record ATS in their last seven games played on Sunday.
