Playoffs are not necessarily out of the question for both the Colorado Rockies and Texas Rangers, but it will take a lot for both teams to make it.

The Rangers were up 6-4 until that point and eventually lost by one. The Rockies plated six of their seven runs off two home runs. The Rockies will finish the short series in Colorado before traveling East to face the New York Mets. The Rangers will travel home and welcome the Detroit Tigers for three games. For the Rangers to have any hope of the postseason, this stretch will become even more important because they face Houston right after the Tigers series.

The total is currently set to 11, which is a typical total set for a matchup at Coors. The over and under are coming in at a -110 price. The Rangers are 4-1 to the over in their last five games, while the Rockies have trended in an opposite direction on totals. They have gone under in four of their last five games. The last 15 meetings between these two have gone under 11 times and at a 5-2-1 clip in their last eight. After an over on Monday, an under may be worth a look.
