A week later in Yankee Stadium, they won 14-1 and he went six with two hits and no walks. The only earned run was off of Dever’s 22^nd home run.

Boston is sitting below .500, four 4 games back in the wild-card race. That’s not all bad though because there are two divisional foes ahead of them and there’s no scoreboard watching needed when you’re playing the club ahead of you in the standings. This team is 8-14 since all start break and has scored four or less in four straight and nine of the last twelve.

Michael Wacha is on the mound at Fenway. He’s 6-1 with an ERA of 2.69 and a 1.11 WHIP. This is his first start since June 28^th as he was out with shoulder inflammation. In his last four outings, he’s gone 20.2 innings allowing 26 hits with seven walks, giving up 10 earned runs and three dingers. His teammates scored 23 runs in his support in those four starts and helped him get two wins and two no decisions.
