New York add FanDuel to its list of Approved Online Sprortsbooks

Online Sportsbooks · Promo Codes · FanDuel · FanDuel New York

On Nov. 8, the New York Gaming Commission (NYGC) issued conditional online sports betting licenses to nine different US sportsbook operators. As the biggest sportsbook in the legal US market, FanDuel led the way.

The company was part of a “super bid” with three other major US operators. This means that FanDuel will be able to offer access to its mobile sports betting app anywhere in the Empire State.

The actual date to go live in New York is still up in the air. However, FanDuel’s target timeframe is before Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022. As long as everything continues to go as planned, this should not be a problem.

As excitement grows for FanDuel’s launch, bettors in New York will be able to take advantage of a generous welcome offer. New customers can get a $1,000 No Sweat First Bet!

This welcome offer and promo code applies to the first wager placed from a new FanDuel online sports betting account.

Following its lead in other legal sports betting states, FanDuel should have a complete lineup of special promotions and incentives in New York. As the No. 1 book in the legal US sports betting industry, FanDuel continues to set the standard for online sports betting.

A perfect example is a $50 Refer-A-Friend incentive. For each valid referral, FanDuel customers can earn a $50 free bet.

As an added edge in the marketplace, FanDuel is based in New York City. Through an existing partnership with Tioga Downs Casino, FanDuel also operates a retail sportsbook at this gaming venue. This land-based sports betting facility first opened in July of 2019.

Legal online sports bets in New York would be able to be placed through the FanDuel website and the mobile app. Through a proven track record of success, the FanDuel Sportsbook mobile app is one of the most frequently downloaded apps in the legal US sports betting industry.
