According to the New Orleans Times Picayune, LSU OG Will Arnold and WR Early Doucet are "out" for Saturday's SEC showdown against South Carolina. Les Miles hasn't decided if senior QB Matt Flynn (high ankle sprain) will start or if he'll go with sophomore Ryan Perrilloux, who was outstanding in his first career start last week against MTSU.
Also, Georgia Tech RB Tashard Choice is "questionable" at Virginia. Choice went through non-contact drills Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He's going to try to practice at full speed Thursday, and then Chan Gailey will make a decision on his status.
In NFL news, the Texans have announced that Pro-Bowl WR Andre Johnson will miss Sunday's home game against Indy. That's a huge loss for unbeaten Houston.
