John Lackey SP, L.A. Angels Angels 07/03/09, Time: 1:22 pm
Status:
Hot
News:
Lackey had his second straight quality start. He allowed two runs over eight innings against the Orioles.
Analysis:
Lackey won the third time and has thrown at least seven innings in his last four starts in which he has struck out 31 batters. It's too late to buy low, so you'll have to pay full price to get him. (SportsBuff.com)

Bobby Abreu OF, L.A. Angels Angels 07/03/09, Time: 1:20 pm
Status:
Steady
News:
Abreu homered in consecutive innings off of Jeremy Guthrie. He had four RBI.
Analysis:
Abreu still only has six homers this season. He hit .303 in June after a poor May. He makes for a decent mixed league outfielder, but not someone who will win you a championship. (SportsBuff.com)

Sam Fuld OF, Chi. Cubs Cubs 07/03/09, Time: 1:18 pm
Status:
Steady
News:
Fuld made his second straight start in left field for the Cubs for the ineffective Alfonso Soriano. Fuld had two hits again including his second double.
Analysis:
It's anybody's guess how long Sweet Lou will have Soriano (.230) on the bench. Meanwhile, Fuld is taking advantage of his first playing time since a cup of coffee with the Cubs in 2007. He may be worth a pickup in NL-only leagues. (SportsBuff.com)
