2021-22 NBA MVP Contenders

Nikola Jokic took home the 2020-21 NBA MVP Award, becoming the first Serbian, Denver Nugget and second-round pick to win the honor. His odds to repeat were just 16/1 entering the season, with plenty of players ahead of him. At the very top of the list was Luka Doncic at +400.

Joel Embiid was second on the list, although rarely plays enough games to contend. Kevin Durant at 7/1 and Steph Curry at 9/1 see some value, considering what their odds may look like as the 2021-22 NBA season progresses. Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off an NBA Finals MVP Award, along with winning the regular-season award on two different occassions.
