I'll have a preview of the LSU-SC game up on VI later tonight. According to Thursday's edition of the New Orleans Times Picayune, LSU All-American offensive guard Will Arnold is "out" for the South Carolina game.
Nevertheless, heavy LSU action late Thursday caused BoDog.com to move its number all the way up to 19. As of late first half of the Miami-Texas A&M game, BoDog had gone back to 18 1/2, while most other spots had 18 or 18 1/2.
South Carolina has some offensive line injuries that I'll discuss in the preview.
And by the way, Miami looks old-school nasty tonight. Kyle Wright is finally playing to his potential and Javarris James looks incredible.
I'm on the 'Canes tonight. For those gamblers that pounded Randy Shannon's team, there's going to be a good chance for a hedge on second-half wagers.
However, the Aggies look awful! In terms of the coaching matchup, it's Shannon over Dennis Franchione in a blowout.
Unless A&M pulls an extremely unlikely comeback win, Franchione breaks back into my top-five coaches on the hot seat.
More on that later. 'Canes up 24-0 at intermission.
