I was right on the money about Houston Nutt bolting for Ole Miss. As far back as six months ago, I accurately called Roger Clemens being on last week's Mitchell Report. Before the start of the 2007 college football season, I called for Kentucky to beat LSU in my Upset of the Year.
On the other hand, I was wrong about Les Miles eventually landing at Michigan. Over the last couple of weeks, I've gone out of my way to insist that despite what you may read or hear, Miles would be the next coach in Ann Arbor.
Well, I was wrong. In the next hour, Rich Rodriguez will be introduced as the new head coach of the Wolverines.
And I owe Les "The Mad Hatter" Miles an apology. He's an LSU man to stay.
What's next for West Virginia? Terry Bowden? Jimbo Fisher? We shall see...
