According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bill Parcells is "probably" going to accept a job with the Atlanta Falcons to handle all football operations. A final decision from Parcells is expected later today.
On the college front, West Virginia appears set to hire John "Doc" Holliday as its next head coach, possibly as soon as today. Holliday interviewed for the WVU job on Sunday along with former Auburn coach Terry Bowden and Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster.
Holliday played for the Mountaineers and was a long-time assistant for Don Nehlen from 1979-1999. He is currently a part of Urban Meyer's staff at Florida.
Falcons assistant Brian Van Gorder is leaving the team to take the defensive coordinator position on Steve Spurrier's staff at South Carolina. Van Gorder is the former head coach at Georgia Southern and also spent several years as the defensive coordinator at Georgia for Mark Richt.
