JoePa is feeling a little more heat than Bobby Bowden these days, but that might not be the case for long. Remember last summer's academic scandal that netted suspensions for more than 20 FSU athletes, yet only a couple of football players were allegedly involved?
Of course, that was before the 2007 football season started.
Turns out, more than 20 football players were involved after a 'lengthier' investigation, but that didn't become common knowledge until shortly before the Music City Bowl.
The entire episode has resulted in the NCAA boys coming to Tallahassee. In fact, the NCAA has issued a notice of allegations, but Florida State is doing everything in its power to keep the allegations a secret.
And on top of all that, the poor-ol'-itchin' semmies can't seem to sell any tickets.
When will the 'Noles hit rock bottom? Only one thing seems for certain -- they aren't there yet.
