Updated MVP Odds

Two months into the NBA season and the Las Vegas Westgate Superbook has released odds on who will be named league Most Valuable Player.

The current favorite is Milwaukee swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 26.6 points per game and 13.2 rebounds per game. Last season, the “Greek Freak” finished sixth in MVP voting, but has helped lead Milwaukee to the second-best record in the Eastern Conference at 19-9.

James Harden captured the MVP award last season, but the Rockets’ guard sits at 12/1 odds as he is the leading the NBA in points per game at 30.9. Prior to the season, Harden was listed at 5/1 odds, while Antetokounmpo began the campaign at 5/1 odds as well.

LeBron James has continued to put up stellar numbers in his first season with the Lakers by ranking third in the league in PPG (28.2). James was listed as the offseason MVP favorite at 3/1 after finishing second in the voting last season for the award. Currently, James sits at 7/2 odds to win his fifth career MVP award (Bet $100 to win $350).
