UPDATE 3 P.M. ET THURSDAY: After getting blown out at home in Game 2 to fall into a 2-0 hole, Denver took over this series by winning the next three games. In Game 5 Tuesday, the Nuggets pulled away in the second half for a 112-97 win over Minnesota as 4.5-point home favorites.

The Nuggets are 3-2 SU and ATS while heading to Minnesota for tonight's Game 6.

BetMGM has Denver -500/Minnesota +375 in Timberwolves vs. Nuggets series odds. Prior to Game 5, it was Nuggets -185/Timberwolves +150.

"We're rooting for the Timberwolves now. Bettors got a great price when the Nuggets went down 2-0," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.

Indeed. Denver opened as -225 series chalk, but flipped all the way to a +400 underdog after losing Games 1 and 2. Plenty of bettors found that attractive, along with a couple of series prop bets.

"Nuggets as series winner, Nuggets to win the series 4-2 and Nuggets to win the series 4-3 are all taking a decent amount of action," BetMGM trader Hal Egeland said earlier this week.

As for Game 6, BetMGM opened Denver -2.5 and hasn't moved off that number. But the juice has bounced around between -115/-110/-105. It's currently Nuggets -2.5 flat.

"Tonight is all Nuggets action, too. So we're gonna be rooting for Minnesota," Cipollini said.
