At VegasInsider, we pride ourselves on transparency and we stand above the competition when it comes to tracking our NBA handicappers.

NBA Picks Records Breakdown

All of our NBA picks offered by our stable of expert handicappers are documented and every selection features betting odds from legal sportsbooks in the United States.

Our NBA picks are tracked from the regular season through the postseason on the hardwood and all the selections by handicappers are graded as one-unit plays.

We monitor our handicappers on the three most popular betting markets:

  • Sides
  • Totals
  • Money Lines

In the NBA, the Sides market is commonly referred to as the point-spread as well and focuses on Team A or Team B.

Handicappers who choose wagers on the spread will need their selection to win by more than the number listed when choosing the favorite. In the case of a selection on the underdog, the handicapper will need their selection to win outright or lose by less than the number of the point-spread.

Totals or Over-Under wagers are based on the combined total points scored in an NBA game. It’s very simple to follow and our handicappers only have two choices, which are the Over or Under.

The last available betting marketing for our NBA handicappers is the Money Line and it’s as basic as it gets. Our handicappers choose Team A or Team B to win the matchup straight up. For transparency, the VegasInsider NBA handicappers have parameters set to where they cannot select heavy favorites. Along with backing ‘chalky’ prices, we limit our NBA handicappers to take wild long shots on money line underdog picks.
