NBA Finals MVP Odds

20182017 | 2016

Prior to Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals, oddsmakers posted numbers on which player will be named the finals Most Valuable Player.

Golden State All-Star guard Stephen Curry has been made the odds-on favorite at 11/10 (Bet $100 to win $110) to win this year's NBA Finals MVP. Curry has never won the Finals MVP in any of the three championships for the Warriors.

Andre Iguodala captured the first won in the 2015 postseason and he's listed at 25/1 odds to earn another.

The last two MVPs went to Kevin Durant of Golden State and even though he missed Game 1 of this series and possibly other games, he's a 15/1 betting choice to capture his third consecutive Finals MVP.

Kawhi Leonard of Toronto is the second betting choice after Curry at 9/5 odds (Bet $100 to win $180).

After Game 1 last Thursday, the biggest jump came from Raptors' forward Pascal Siakam, who went from 50/1 to win MVP prior to the Finals to 8/1 following a 32-point output in the series opener.

Following Game 2 on Sunday, Curry remains the top betting choice at 5/9 odds and his teammate Draymond Green is starting to get noticed, going from 10/1 down to 4/1 after Golden State's victory.

The Raptors captured a 2-1 series lead on Wednesday after winning Game 3. After that victory, oddsmakers have now made Leonard the betting favorite at 1/1 odds. Curry is right behind him at 11/10 odds.

Even though he hasn't played a game yet in the series, Durant's odds were dropped from 30/1 to 20/1 after the Golden State loss in Game 3.

After his monster night in Game 4, Leonard has been pushed to a 2/11 betting choice (Bet $100 to win $18) to capture the MVP. Basically, if Toronto wins the series then Leonard is the MVP.

Curry dropped to 6/1 odds and lurking around at 20/1 odds is KD, who could steal this award if Golden State wins out and he performs well.

After the Warriors stayed alive with a Game 5 victory at Toronto on Monday, the oddsmakers adjusted their numbers again for players on both teams.

Leonard (-325) remains the odds-on favorite while Curry saw his numbers get cut in half from 6/1 to 3/1. Barring back-to-back outbursts by another Golden State player, it's safe to say that this wager has become a two-horse race between these players.
