NASCAR WÜRTH 400 Picks, Predictions, Odds

The final race of April takes place with the Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware on Sunday.

There was plenty of excitement in last week's race at Talladega as Tyler Reddick took home the checkered flag following a huge crash on the final lap. It's a huge transition going from the superspeedway at Talladega to the "Monster Mile" race at Dover, which is a one-mile intermediate track.

Kyle Larson is listed as the favorite on Sunday at 4/1 odds, followed by William Byron and Denny Hamlin at 6/1.

The last repeat champion at Dover was Jimmie Johnson back in 2014 and 2015, as Martin Truex, Jr. is coming off a win in this event last season.

NASCAR EXPERT BETS - WÜRTH 400

For this week's Würth 400 on Sunday April 28, 2024 from Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware, our auto racing experts are focusing on the below individuals:

  • Alex Bowman
  • Christopher Bell
  • Ryan Blaney
Alex Bowman Top 10 Finish (-110)

Bowman missed last year's race at Dover because of injury. This is his one of his best tracks. Over his last 6 races here, he has a 6.2 average finish with five top-5 finishes and a win. He finished 5th here in his only Next-Gen race. Coming into the weekend, I'm very high on Bowman, and I want to jump on this mispriced line before qualifying.

Christopher Bell Race Winner (+1300)

Bell has finished 4th and 6th at Dover the last two seasons and ranks top 10 in speed in those two races. His pit crew struggled last season, and it cost him a lot of spots on the track. This season, Bell's crew ranks 2nd in average pit stop. My model has Bell at 10/1 as fair value. Bell qualified 2nd here last season, and if he has speed in practice/qualifying, this is the best line we're going to get on him.

Ryan Blaney Race Winner (+1600)

I was shocked to see Blaney at 16/1, and my model has 10/1 as fair value for him this weekend. Blaney is excellent on steep tracks and ranks top 5 in speed on steep tracks with the Next-Gen car. Blaney ranked 1st in speed at Dover last season, on his way to a 3rd-place finish. The Fords have had speed this season, and I want to get in on this line before it moves.
