Week 2 Recap

Favorites: 5-3
Underdogs: 2-3
Totals: 3-5

You can view all of the major moves from Week 2 and if you delve into the results further, you’ll notice that the early moves had a great feel on the favorites last week. Five of the eight moves were right and two teams, Missouri and Stanford, covered their opening number but lost on the closing line. The other ‘chalk’ loser that got steamed was Indiana, and it never had a shot to cover in its 41-35 loss at home to Navy last Saturday. The Hoosiers also saw their total spike four points from 64 to 68 and the move was right as the ‘over’ cashed with time to spare in the fourth quarter.

Week 3 Line Moves

Last week, we used opening numbers from The Wynn in Las Vegas because they were the first sportsbook to release. This past Sunday, the oddsmakers at the offshore sportsbook CRIS decided to test their skills by releasing opening numbers for Week 3 at 12: 30 p.m. ET, perhaps to catch some bettors off-guard. Below are all of the major moves of "Four Points" or more off the opening line from CRIS.
