Betting on the Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have one of the most illustrious legacies in the NBA. The team will forever be associated with major players that have changed the game as we know it.

The Chicago Bulls were founded in 1966. They play in the NBA as a member of the Eastern Conference. The team has four retired numbers, six championship titles, six conference titles, and many division titles.

The Bulls are probably best known for their most successful run in the 1990s. The team played a huge part in the worldwide popularization of basketball. The 1990s Chicago Bulls are known as one of the NBA’s, and sports’s, greatest dynasties. The team won six championship titles between 1991 and 1998, including two three-peats.

All six of these championship wins were led by Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and coach Phil Jackson. In addition, Dennis Rodman was another of the famed players of the Bulls. The team is the only NBA franchise that has won multiple championships while never losing an NBA Finals series.

The team set an NBA record at the time for their 1995-96 season, where they won 72 games. That record has since been broken by the Golden State Warriors in 2015-16 with 73 wins. These are the only two teams to win 70 games or more in a single season.

The Bulls had a rivalry with the Detroit Pistons in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They have also had rivalries with the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the New York Knicks.

A very popular type of bet for NBA betting is a point spread bet. A spread bet is a bet on the total points scored in a game by either team. Here is an example below:

  • Chicago Bulls: -3.5
  • Miami Heat: +3.5

In this set up, the Chicago Bulls would be the team that is favored to win. However, the team will need to win by at least 4 points in order for the bettor to triumph. If the bettor wagers on the Miami Heat, the Heat would need to win or not lose by four or more points for the bettor to win.
