The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell behind 3-0 to the Dallas Cowboys early in the first quarter on Sunday night, that was all the scoring Tampa allowed. The Bucs scored 19 straight points behind four Ryan Succop field goals and a lone touchdown caught by Mike Evans. The Cowboys looked awful, and Tom Brady look rather pedestrian with 212 passing yards and one touchdown.

He completed his stat line with an interception, but that was an afterthought considering the Cowboys had just 244 yards on 64 offensive snaps. The Buccaneers will look to improve on their offensive scoring this week with a tilt against the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints looked dead in the water after falling behind 26-10 on Sunday in Atlanta but rallied off 17 straight points to come out on top 27-26. Will Lutz nailed a 51-yard field goal with just 19 seconds left on the clock to grab the come from behind win. Jameis Winston led the way with 269 yards through the air and two touchdown tosses, both to Michael Thomas.

The Saints were outgained by 31 yards on the day, but they won the turnover battle by one. The Buccaneers travel East on Interstate 10 closer to home but will make a stop at the Caesars Superdome for another road tilt. The Buccaneers will not get a home game until Green Bay visits next week.

Tampa Bay has a 4-1 ATS record it their last five games as a road favorite. The Saints have done really well against the NFC South over the last 16 games, covering 11 of those. The last nine meetings between these two teams have gone in favor of the Saints, as they have covered eight. The underdog, in this case the Saints, have also covered four straight games between these two franchises.

The total is currently set to 44. We expect this line to be indicative of the not so efficient Buccaneers offense, but week two may show us a more complete team. The total has gone over in four of the last five meetings in New Orleans. The Saints have also seen four totals go under when listed as an underdog.
