EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix Picks, Predictions, Odds

The sixth race of the NASCAR circuit is a bit of a change from the first five as the road course in Austin, Texas will be showcased this Sunday.

The Circuit of the Americas or COTA as it's called, is hosting its fourth-ever NASCAR road course race after Tyler Reddick won the event in 2023.

Reddick is favored again to capture the checkered flag, right ahead of pole winner William Byron, who pick up his first career road course win last August at Watkins Glen.

No driver has won consecutive races this season as Denny Hamlin emerged victorious at Bristol last week. Hamlin is listed at hefty 100/1 odds to win on Sunday as he owns one career victory in 50 road course races.

NASCAR EXPERT BETS - EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix

For this week's EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix on Sunday March 24, 2024 from the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, our auto racing experts are focusing on the below individuals:

  • Austin Cindric
  • Chris Buescher
  • AJ Allmendinger
Austin Cindric Top 10 Finish (+130)

Austin Cindric was a road course ace in the XFINITY Series, and he had a lot of speed in 2022 on road courses. He struggled on road courses last season, and I'm hoping the new Ford body helps him this season. I don't want to bet his outright until I see the speed in practice, but I do have interest in his top ten at plus money. If he struggles in practice, you could get an even better number than this, but I'm on the other end of this one. I think he's going to have speed this weekend.

Chris Buescher Top 10 Finish (+115)

Buescher finished top ten in five of the six road courses last season. My model is showing this as one of the best values on the board to start the week. He ranked 8th in speed on road courses last season. In the 12 road course races with the Next Gen car, Buescher has an 8.4 average finish, which is the best among active drivers. On top of that, he's finished inside the top 10 in 10 of those 12 races.

AJ Allmendinger Race Winner (+1600)

Allmendinger is back full-time in the XFINITY Series this season, but he's running a third car for Kaulig Racing this weekend. Last season, Allmendinger ranked 1st in speed on road courses. With stage cautions coming back, Allmendinger isn't running for points this weekend. He should short pit the stages and be on the right strategy to win this race. I love the upside, and it's a bonus he's not running for stage points.
