LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) - Marvin Jordan scored 18 points and Anthony Nelson added 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead Niagara over Manhattan 66-59 on Sunday in both teams' season finale.
Kashief Edwards added 14 points and Malcolm Lemmons 10 for the Purple Eagles (9-22, 5-13 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who went 23 for 27 from the free-throw line (85.2 percent)
Niagara fell behind 16-9 midway through the opening half, but went on a 16-6 run to take a 25-22 lead with 5:38 left before the break. The Purple Eagles shot 50 percent from the floor (10 of 20) in the first half.
George Beamon scored 18 points, Michael Alvarado added 15 and Kidani Brutus 11 for the Jaspers (6-24, 3-15), who went 12 for 23 from the field (52.2 percent) after halftime.
Niagara made all 10 of its free throws in the second half, including eight in the final minute to seal the victory.
