FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Devon Peltier's 3-point shot with four-tenths of a second remaining lifted Cal State Fullerton to a 54-51 victory against Pacific on Thursday night.
The Titans (5-9, 1-1 Big West), who blew a 19-point second-half lead, went scoreless for 5:16 before Peltier's shot hit the rim, bounced off the backboard and fell through the net.
The Tigers (8-6, 1-1) capped a 12-0 run with Demetrece Young's game-tying free throws with 28 seconds remaining.
Andre Hardy had 17 points and nine rebounds for Cal State Fullerton before he was ejected for a flagrant foul with 2:57 remaining. Jer'Vaughn Johnson added 12 points for the Titans.
Sam Willard and Pat Eveland scored 10 points each for Pacific. Willard had 11 rebounds.
Cal State Fullerton reserve Sedric Martin was given a technical foul for dunking during pregame warmup, and two Young free throws gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead before the opening tipoff.
