The PGA TOUR moves to the  Travelers Championship  at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut this week. Graeme McDowell won at the last U.S. Open hosted at Pebble Beach back in 2010. Before that it was Tiger Woods claiming the trophy in 2000 in the previous U.S. Open hosted on the shores of the Pacific Ocean on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula.

PRIME MATCHUPS

Each week we'll take a look at the best round matchups to try and build up a nice bankroll.

Jason Kokrak (-120) vs. Adam Hadwin (-110): Kokrak rolls into this event having made 23 consecutive cuts dating back to The Open last season at Carnoustie. He does solid work in the Greens In Regulation and Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee categories, two areas of focus for fantasy owners and bettors at TPC River Highlands.

Ryan Moore (-110) vs. Russell Knox (-120): Moore missed the cut in 2018, but he has participated in this event on 11 different occasions dating back to 2006, and he has made the cut in nine of those showings. In addition, he was second in 2011, as well as 2006 when the event was named the Buick Championship. He has finished seventh or better in five of his tournaments at TPC River Highlands, too. Take Moore against the slightly favored golfer.

Paul Casey (-130) vs. Justin Thomas (+100): Casey was tied for second place last season at this event, tied with Stewart Cink, J.B. Holmes and Beau Hossler at three strokes off the pace behind eventual winner Bubba Watson. Casey was also fifth in 2017, and 17th in 2016 at this event. He also lost in a playoff back in 2015, also coming up short against Watson.

Bubba Watson (-105) vs. Louis Oosthuizen (-125): Speaking of Watson, he is a three-time winner (2010, 2015 and 2018) at TPC River Highlands, so there is no reason to bet against him. He is obviously comfortable at this event, and he will show well again this season.

Last event (U.S. Open): 7-0 (+700)
This season: 24-25-2 (-390)

OTHER BETS

Top 20 Finish - Ryan Moore (+225): As mentioned, Moore has made the cut in nine of his 11 showings at TPC River Highlands with two second-place finishes, and five finishes of seventh or better. As such, he's a good bet for a Top 20 Finish, and he is quite a value at this price.

Top 20 Finish - Jason Kokrak (+240): Kokrak is on quite the roll, going nearly an entire calendar year having made the cut. He'll look to make a little noise at TPC River Highlands this week, and he comes with a pretty nice value.

Top 20 Finish - Tony Finau (+120): Finau has managed to make the cut in each of his three previous showings at this event, finishing 17th, 25th and 25th. A masher isn't typically the kind of players to bank on at TPC River Highlands, but at the same time he can exhibit finesse when absolutely necessary, particularly around the green and with the putter.

Last event: 2-4 (-315)
This season: 17-32 (-1013)
