In June of 2020, Sky Ute Resort & Casino became the first Native American-owned sportsbook company to go live with a mobile sportsbook app outside of Nevada. It also marked the first time a Native American property launched a mobile app available for download statewide.

SKY UTE SPORTSBOOK PROMO CODE

Many legal sportsbooks offer promo codes or welcome offers to entice users to download their app as they go live in new places. Currently, the Sky Ute Sportsbook app does not offer any welcome bonus to potential users.

Sky Ute Sportsbook offers close to the bare minimum relative to other sportsbooks regarding the variety of leagues and markets.

The most basic leagues are covered in the app. Sky Ute Sportsbook offers users leagues like the MLB, NBA, and NFL, along with college football and basketball. Sprinkle in a few other sports and the list is fully covered. International leagues are not offered, and many growing US leagues, most notably MMA and the WNBA, are missing as well. Overall, the selection is extremely limited.

MARKETS

Variety, or lack thereof, is similarly displayed in Sky Ute Sportsbook’s market offerings. Almost every sportsbook offers spreads, money lines, parlays, totals, and a handful of prop markets. Most offer other unique options such as profit boosts, same game parlays, bonus-back promotions, or bonus bets. Sky Ute Sportsbook covers only the basics and does not appear to offer anything beyond the typical spread, total, and parlay-type options. Again, the selection is limited.

The Sky Ute Sportsbook app is underwhelming relative to its competition. Considering its more of an in-house operation than the market-leaders, it’s tempting to cut the company some slack. However, it’s important to point out the app’s flaws and make users aware of where they can and cannot get the best deals or promo codes.

If a user wishes to place straightforward spread or total wagers on games in the US’ major sports leagues, they can absolutely do that without issue through this app. If a user wishes to place more complex or obscure prop bets or bet on less popular leagues, they may want to look elsewhere.

To download the Sky Ute Sportsbook app for iOS, search something along the lines of “Sky Ute” in the App Store. From there, download the app, register for an account, allow location-tracking while using the app, fund the account, and begin betting.

ANDROID APP

The process is similar for Android users. The only stipulation here is that users must have at least OS v5.0 to install the app on their phone. Aside from that, signup is the same with the download coming from the Play Store rather than the App Store.

SKY UTE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sky Ute Sportsbook offers customer service through its partner USBookmaking. In the app, the support button takes the user to a page where they can select “sportsbook information” or “legal & privacy.” It’s unhelpful if a user is looking for assistance with a certain problem they’re having within the app. For customer support, a link can be found through the FAQs page.

The FAQs page, however, cannot be found through the app. By clicking on “sportsbook information,” users can re-direct to the website, where they can then find the FAQs page and the subsequent support link. There is no telephone, in-person, or live chat option for customer service. The only option is to send a message to the operator and provide an email for response.

SKY UTE PAYMENT METHODS

Sky Ute Sportsbook requires users to sign up for a Play+ account in order to deposit and withdraw funds. Play+ acts as a middleman for sportsbook operators, but users can fund their Play+ account via bank transfer, credit and debit cards, or online banking.

Users in Colorado have so many other options that offer much more than Sky Ute Sportsbook.
