League Betting Notes (from Monday, May 19 through Sunday, May 25)

-- Favorites went 6-4 straight up
-- Underdogs went 6-4 against the spread (ATS)
-- Home/road teams posted a 5-5 SU record
-- Home/road teams posted a 5-5 ATS record
-- The 'under' went 6-4

Team Betting Notes

-- Minnesota (4-0) remains unblemished through the first two weekends of the 2014 WNBA regular season, but the Lynx have not been a good bet against the spread. They are 1-3 ATS this season, and they have failed to cover in three straight. However, while the 'under' has been the play for most teams, the 'over' is a perfect 4-0 for Maya Moore and company in Minneapolis.

-- Chicago (4-0) has fired out of the chute, winning its first four games. They have also covered four in a row to start the season. It will be a clash of the Titans Monday, as they face the unbeaten Lynx in the Windy City at 3:30pm ET. Something's gotta give.

-- After a bit of a nightmare start to the season, Indiana (1-3) finally righted the ship with a road win in Indiana (2-2). The Fever covered an eight-point spread (+310, ML) with the victory.

-- Los Angeles (2-1) hammered San Antonio (2-2) by an 83-62 count Sunday in SoCal. Despite the 83 points, the 'under' is still 2-0-1 through three games for the Sparks.

-- Phoenix (2-1) was tripped up Friday at home against the Stars despite being favored by 9 1/2. The Mercury will look for the bounceback against Tulsa (0-2) Friday in Phoenix.

-- The Shock is 0-2 SU so far, but they have covered both games. In addition, the 'over' is a perfect 2-0 heading into Wednesday's game at San Antonio.
