The league announced Monday that attendance in the playoffs was up 10 percent from last season and had its highest average, 9,596, since the 2010 season. The WNBA Finals, which saw Minnesota beat Los Angeles in five games, was the third-most watched ever on ESPN networks, averaging 559,000 viewers.

The league also set new records across its social media platforms with 246 million impressions. That was up nearly 34 percent from last year. There were also 47 million video views, a big jump from last year.
